Open to: Parents, step-parents, grandparents, and siblings grieving the loss of a child, grandchild, or sibling.
Our meetings provide a safe and supportive space to share your experiences, connect with others who understand, and find comfort in shared memories. While sadness is a natural part of the grieving process, we also believe in celebrating the lives of our loved ones. Together, we discover strength and resilience.
Our lending library offers a selection of grief-related books and resources to support your journey. Feel free to borrow books and other materials at no cost.
These resources are available at each meeting for your convenience.
The Compassionate Friends of Tallahassee is a completely volunteer-run organization. We rely solely on the generosity of our community to provide essential support services and programs.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant impact on the lives of grieving families. Your contribution helps us maintain our meeting space, purchase grief-related materials, and continue offering a vital support system.
Thank you for considering a donation to our chapter.

Join us for the Worldwide Candle Lighting on the second Sunday in December at 7:00 PM. This global event unites families and friends in honoring the memory of children who have died at any age.
By lighting a candle for one hour, we create a virtual wave of light that spans across the world. It's a powerful and meaningful way to remember our loved ones and connect with others who share our loss.
Let's come together as a community to celebrate the lives of our children.
