Find Comfort and Support

Our meetings are for parents, grandparents, and siblings who are grieving the death of a child or sibling of any age, from any cause. You are welcome to join us in a caring, understanding space where you can share your experiences, listen, or simply be present with others who understand your journey. Together, we find comfort, connection, and hope, and support one another through the ups and downs of grief.

We also hold a special candle lighting service on the second Sunday in December to honor and remember our children.

Attendance is free, and donations are welcome to support our volunteer-run chapter. We hope you’ll feel comfortable joining us and finding understanding and support among others who share your experience.

Taking that first step to join our support group is undoubtedly challenging. Please know you're not alone in feeling this way. Your courage in reaching out is commendable.

Remember, there's no pressure to share if you're not ready. Your presence alone is a significant step. It's common to experience a range of emotions at your first meeting, and that's perfectly normal.

Finding your place within our group may take time. Connection and comfort often develop gradually. We encourage you to attend multiple meetings to fully experience the support and understanding we offer.

Meeting Location and Time

Join us on the second Monday of each month from January to November, from 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM for our support group meeting. In December, we hold a special candle-lighting service on the second Sunday.

We meet in the Luke Room, located on the south side of the building. Parking is accessible from Pinewood Drive.

Please note: While we meet at a church, The Compassionate Friends is a non-denominational organization open to people of all faiths and beliefs.
